Operation Condor (AKA Armour of God 2: Operation Condor) 8.4 out of 10

Starring: Jackie Chan

In this movie, Jackie plays a special operative that has a mission to recover a huge amount of gold hidden in an abandoned underground bunker. The gold was stolen in World War 2 and was being pursued by any number of crooks and whatnot. Jackie gets teamed up with two female costars over the course, and has to let them tag along, as they have their own reasons to track the bunker down. As he does this, he spends time wandering in the desert, and encounters all kinds of other hardships. At one point as part of a plan, Jackie has to sell one of his friends at an auction for something like 10 000 camels (I guess we are to believe that, since there are typically camels in the desert, camels are therefore the standard means of payment in said desert, also, who has or has a need for that many camels!?!?)

I have seen this one a number of times, it is a pretty enjoyable flick, and the fighting and stunts are pretty good too.

I SUGGEST YOU WATCH FOR: There is one stunt at the end where one of the guys that Jackie is fighting pushes his head down over the edge of a structure that has two pieces that move against one another in a shear motion. As the two sections come together, Jackie moves his face just out of the way so that it misses by an incredibly small margin. Classic!

THE BEST FIGHT: There is a lengthy fight scene in the bunker at the end that contains some really good sparring. At one point, Jackie is standing right on the edge of a giant cylinder still fighting like crazy, and keeping his balance. Of course, there is plenty of the Jackie Chan trademark… dust, that is to show that they actually block real kicks and punches as it flies off, and it looks a lot cooler!
