Bloodsport: 2 out of 10 Starring: Jean Claude (the more names the better) Van Damme Van Damme sucks! Well this is the “true” story of Frank W. Dux, a Kumite Champ or something… blah blah, its basically exactly the same as a half dozen other Van Damme “movies”. Heres the basic idea, take a rehash plot… remove all the story, remove characterization, add slow motion, about a dozen splits, and a french pec blasting hack and you have Bloodsport! I SUGGEST YOU WATCH FOR: The weird looking Asian guy that plays Chong Li in this movie (you may remember him as Bolo from Enter the Dragon) Also, watch for the prolific rooftop training scene in which Van Damme sits in the splits (surprise!) and seems to make shadow animals… that should get him ready! THE BEST FIGHT: Oh come on, if I rated all the fights from one to 100 against a good movie, none of these would even make the list! |
